Examples of partnerships and co-operations

„Stiftung Bildung & Handwerk“ has been partner or coordinator of various transnational partnerships, networks and projects in different educational areas on current educational issues since it´s foundation, aimed at education for marginalized target groups, promotion of mobility for learning purposes, intercultural education, education for VET-staff, mostly related to e-learning and adult learning within the framework of European Programmes for adult education/vocational education and training.   

 

2018-2020

EMIEW– "Educational Modules for Insurance and Employability of Women" 

The project is a an attempt to provide job and social insurance related knowledge to women that are less educated with lower social status and esteem. The main target group are either unemployed women or women, who are working in low skill jobs and with low payment, without any social insurance system and/or without adequate knowledge and experience about work life.

EMIEW develops training modules to provide them knowledge of rights and benefits provided by laws and regulations and knowledge against the perils and risks of work life. 

 

2016-2018

REHAB- Rehabilitation and integration into society of drug addicted adults and their families

The project aimed to form a strong regional partnership in the North of Turkey for the support of drug addicts and their families and to provide help through education with support of European partners. 

With this aim cooperated experts from different background: scientific institutions like universities, associations and educational institutions with pedagogues, psychlogists, social workers and sociologists. The partners developed innovative modular training programs for young adult drug addicts between 18 to 29 years under supervised probation, their families and experts that are working with the target group.

 

2016-2018

my VETmo

“Mobilities as pathways to hidden competences” was a partnership to contribute a concept for individual and professional development of disadvantaged and disabled young people through mobility abroad with special support. myVETmo provides easier access to European stays abroad for young people with special needs. myVETmo can be defined as a process of accompaniment before, during and after the mobility. This approach aims to reveal and develop the student‘s hidden competences using different tools like an individual video-based selfpresentation, guidelines for inclusive mobility and the „student´s navigator“, a web based tool for accompaniment. 

 

2012-2014 

Easy mobil

was a Leonardo da Vinci Partnership to promote the mobility for learning purposes for young people with special needs. The consortium established guidelines for mobility for this target group and realized a transnational meeting among young people from different countries to make them familiar with Europe and the opportunities of mobility. The mobility activities were focussed on countries from the eastern and south-eastern part of Europe. 

 

2011-2013 

cet - "Certified European e-Tutor"

With the CET was developed the way to a European certificate for professional pedagogue. CET is based on the results of the E-TU-MODU. E-learning has changed the education landscape. But in this time there wasn´t existing any qualification framework for teachers who work in this area and no adequate training or further education. With CET was developed a unified European e-Tutor qualification scheme.

 

2011-2013

CoTRAIN 

This partnership realized a training and counselling framework for younger and older graduates to complete their initial education, get new competencies for work life and promote their own capabilities in lifelong learning process. Therefor it developed and implemented training modules to promote soft skills that were shared and compared among partner countries Turkey, Spain and Germany.

 

2010-2012

Bridge- Bridging the gap: bilevel tutorial system for imprisoned persons' career growth

Development of an innovative teaching approach for prisoners – the bilevel tutorial system BRIDGE that connect the educational and vocational guidance practices, monitor individuals during imprisonment and primarily upon completion of sentence and facilitate their reintegration into society. The project developed a web application that enables tutors and convicts to plan and monitor the education path of each individual both inside and outside of prison.

INTECH

Implementation of Artificial Intelligent Technologies in Rehabilitation Engineering: Training for Vocational Rehabilitation Counsellors

INTECH supported rehabilitation counsellors, social workers, physiotherapists and other experts involved in rehabilitation process providing new training material to improve their technical knowledge to optimize process of integration into society of the client and to increase number of disabled people able to work in suitable employment.

Thus the project promoted the importance of artificial intelligent technologies in rehabilitation to enhance results of medical rehabilitation process.

Help of disadvantaged women to gain revenue generating new vocational skills

The aim of the learning partnership was to initiate an international exchange of experience between VET institutions on the topic. Most relevant was the question of how to pave the way for equal participation in economic and social life for the various groups of disadvantaged women. The focus was particularly on the integration and support of women in vocational education and to show pathways to place themselves on the job market in the countries of the project partners Turkey, France and Germany.

 

2008-2010 

etu-Modu

The central topic of the project was the development and certification of e-learning modules to train teachers in vocational education as "e-tutors". The modules were produced in English, German and other languages of the partners. The training program was designed for self-directed learning as well as for tutorially accompanied learning offers in combination with traditional forms of learning (Blended learning). By using these modules (in DE, NL, BG) during the course of the project, "e-tutors" and "e-competence teams" were established already in the vocational schools​ and in the education and training centres of the partner countries.

 

2007-2009 

MARGINTEG

Development of a new, attractive and innovative training and further education offer in the field of "toolmaking" or the "tool manufacturing industry" for the disadvantaged.

Immediate target groups are prison inmates, who should enrich their knowledge with the help of the latest 2D and 3D simulations. The project also developed a tool to organize a successful match between companies and (former) prisoners in work in selected states.

 

2006-2008 

iKult- Intercultural training modules for SMEs in Europe to promote mobility​ and transfer of knowledge

The iKulT Partners developed intercultural, technology-based training modules for those interested in mobility and employees of SMEs  which were tested in selected institutions of the participating countries Italy, Denmark, Slovenia, Turkey and Germany. 

 

2006-2008

RUBBER KNOWLEDGE

For and with the rubber manufacturing industry was developed an internationally adapted program for trainers and trainers in rubber processing companies in Europe;

Preparation and development of materials for internal trainers in the rubber processing industry (manual, exercise books, CD-ROM, e-learning content);

Continuing education of a first generation with the help of the developed materials and promotion of knowledge transfer; 

Creation of a certification concept with regard to continuing education in the rubber industry and development a program that supports lifelong learning

EUTREX – European Transition Exchange Network 

The EUTREX network laid the foundation for an Internet-based European Mobility Exchange platform to provide information for all those interested in mobility. The range of information is about internships, finding a traineeship and starting a career in various European countries but also on practical issues relating to a stay abroad, such as travel, housing search and insurance coverage
